Standing Seam Metal Roof Installation

We recently installed this Bruce & Dana Snap-Lock standing seam metal roof system on a home in Portland. Standing seam metal is a great choice if you live in a heavily wooded area, as it is easy to keep clean. We installed custom made end caps for a more finished look. The drip edge we use is custom and crimped at the bottom as well, we feel this gives the roof a more clean look overall. The homeowner was thrilled with the result!

Do you also install aluminum lap-lock (is this the right term?) shingles? You bid our house for Decra, but we just saw our first aluminum roof and loved it. The only information I can find on line is in Salt Lake City, where it appears that the product is relatively common. Perhaps this is also where the product is manufactured?
I’d appreciate it if you’d get back to us–I’d like to know the relative cost compared to Decra, since we much prefer the look.

    Thanks–Brad and Lorraine
